Want to Give Back to the Lyme Community? Here Are Three Ways You Can Help

GLA CEO Laura MacNeill discusses ways you can support Lyme initiatives for your year-end giving.

Hi Everyone.

I wanted to take a minute to say how impressed I am. So many of you have reached out to us asking how you can help and get involved with the organization. Either you’re looking to share your story on our social media channels to spread awareness or you’re becoming an ambassador or peer to peer mentor. Your desire to give back is admirable and we couldn’t be more grateful.

With that being said, I’m happy to announce that it’s almost time for GLA’s year end campaign and Giving Tuesday.  I want to provide you some more ideas as to how you can help GLA in our fight against lyme and other tick borne diseases.

1. We are launching our Unstoppable campaign where we are asking GLA supporters to start fundraising pages to help us reach out goal of 30,000. There are several prizes for you depending on how much you raise, including GLA swag and tickets to next years gala.
2. Another way to help is by donating directly through our website. All donations are tax deductible.
3. Lastly, you can select GLA as your designated charity when signing up for AmazonSmile. That way you can support GLA every time you shop!

Through scientific research, we hope to develop a reliable test and find the cure for Lyme and other tick-borne diseases. But in order to do that we need your support. Every dollar counts. Thank you to everyone and I hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving
