Suffolk County Summer 2019 Tick Talks
Participants will learn about the variety of ticks found in Suffolk County, the diseases caused by ticks, protective measures that prevent tick bites, proper tick removal techniques, and steps to take if bitten. Among the diseases carried by ticks on Long Island are Lyme disease, babesiosis, ehrlichiosis, and Rocky Mountain spotted fever.

Tick-Borne Disease Educational Symposium
This event is intended to bring together some of the greatest minds in the field of Tick-Borne Illness to educate both the public and the medical community here on the East End of Long Island. The event will last all day and will include an allergen-friendly buffet-style lunch with gourmet-wraps in the upstairs terrace above the conference room where you can visit all of our exhibitors and vendors!
The morning session will be geared towards professionals in the healthcare field, while the afternoon session will be more focused on patient and public concerns in regards to Tick-Borne Illnesses.
