Kirsten joined Global Lyme Alliance in November 2019. As Education Program Coordinator, she works closely with the Director of Education and Outreach to develop and maintain GLA’s educational and patient services platforms that support the general community as well as patients and caregivers living with tick-borne illness. Kirsten manages day-to-day engagement with GLA’s network of outreach volunteers, including Education Ambassadors, Mentors, and Mentees to ensure they are benefitting from the programs and services provided.
Prior to joining GLA, Kirsten worked with The Raymond Corporation as a Data Analyst where she conducted data reporting and analysis, led training sessions/webinars and corporate team building. She also has done extensive volunteer work in her free time. Kirsten’s motivation to make a difference in the Lyme community stems from her family’s firsthand experience with the struggles that Lyme presents – and her desire to change that narrative.
Kirsten graduated from the State University of New York-Plattsburgh with a B.A. in English Language Arts.
