The Pineapple Sunshine clothing line is designed for fashionable parents and their children
“Pineapple Sunshine is a children’s clothing brand for newborn to four years old.”

Shanlee Johnson, owner of Little Birdies Boutique in Georgetown, D.C., announced that she is premiering her new line, Pineapple Sunshine. Pineapple Sunshine is a children’s clothing brand for newborn to four years old. The new brand released its Spring/Summer 2018 collection last month. With a winning track record of being named “Best Children’s Store in D.C.” by Washingtonian Magazine and Washington City Paper, the company is expecting the clothing line will be just as popular.
Using her design degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, Johnson set out to create high quality, soft, and washable clothing. She designed Pineapple Sunshine for fashionable parents and their children. The line features crochet trimmed onesies, smocked knit dresses with ruffle bloomers, zip front footies in custom prints, rompers with contrast trims, and matching blankets, all of which are made of 100% Peruvian Pima Cotton, the softest cotton available on the market. The cotton is silky against your baby’s delicate skin, while being easy to wash.
“Each style evokes an ‘oh my goodness, I have to have it’ reaction,” says Johnson. “They are just too fun to pass up.”
For each product sold, Pineapple Sunshine will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Global Lyme Alliance, a non-profit organization whose mission is to conquer “Lyme and other tick-borne diseases through research, education, and awareness.” Lyme Disease is close to Pineapple Sunshine’s heart, so this is a wonderful opportunity for the brand to help people become more informed about the disease itself, as well as prevention and treatment.
